The natural patterns on the drum’s face reveal a wild boar, an animal sacred to Gwyn ap Nudd. When tilted, the beast vanishes as light illuminates a hidden track along the spine, with winding trackways, symbolising the many paths life takes us upon. It is a visual reminder that you do not need to show the world what lies beneath, your mystery can remain hidden, and your journey does not require external illumination.
